X-IO’s new partnership gives ANZ resellers full access to high performance storage with unrivaled affordability, availability and simplicity.
Westcon-Comstor, a value-added distributor of category-leading unified communications, network infrastructure, data centre, and security solutions with a global network of specialty resellers, recently announced an agreement with X-IO Technologies for the ANZ region. It supports X-IO’s global expansion into the growing marketplace with Westcon providing its customers with high-performance storage solutions.
Resellers across Australia and New Zealand will have the ability to drive accelerated revenue via access to X-IO’s full product range underpinned by its Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) and iglu architectures. This ensures resellers can meet increased customer demand for cost-effective, high-performance storage solutions supporting data centre and cloud initiatives.
Executives from both companies weigh in on this new agreement:
“We are excited to deepen our relationship with Westcon in both the New Zealand and Australian markets. Westcon’s focus on providing superior value to the customer goes hand-in-hand with X-IO’s mission of providing high performing technology at affordable prices. At X-IO, we aspire to being “Better by Design” – that includes our technology, channel partnerships and customer interactions,” said Tim Cullen, Vice President of Global Sales Operations at X-IO.
“Having visited Westcon in New Zealand and Australia, meeting with many in management and a plethora of BDM’s, I am honored to work with Westcon and see the extended relationship and look forward to the business and relationships to evolve and can only see the potential ahead with the Westcon presence and X-IO application-driven storage focus,” said Peter Selin, Chief Architect at X-IO.
Dave Rosenberg, Managing Director of Westcon ANZ, weighs in: “This translates into more time creating premier value-added datacentre and Cloud offerings – as well as faster revenue recognition. In order to accelerate both traditional enterprise data centres and cloud platforms, the infrastructure demands intelligent storage like X-IO.”
