High Performance Storage
ISE 200 series is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 all-HDD storage array offering between 9.6 and 38.4 TB of useable capacity and up to 13,500 IOPS in a single 3U system. ISE 200 series provides an ideal balance of price, performance, capacity, and reliability. ISE storage systems are designed to manage multiple simultaneous streaming and random I/O patterns. ISE outperforms traditional disk systems by delivering 2-3 times the number of IOPS per disk and up to 1,400 IOPS per terabyte.
Highly-Available High Reliability Storage
The ISE is engineered from the ground up to be highly-available, and to support high-availability application configurations and architectures. Redundancy at every level of the product ensures that if failures do occur within an ISE, the ISE continues to be available. ISE provides true split-second active-active failover delivering high availability to the applications it serves, at rated performance and capacity.
Traditional storage arrays and SAN products, assume that drive and component-level failures will occur and depend on human intervention to recover from those failures. The ISE is built based on the understanding that the vast majority of media failures can be detected and repaired in situ, while the storage array simply continues to operate, with no impact to performance or capacity.
The ISE is the storage industry’s only storage array designed to repair, rather than replace, failing and marginal storage media, using a set of software tools and algorithms we call Managed Reliability.

ISE Storage System Specifications
1End-user capacity is in GB, where 1GB = 1024MiB; 1MiB = 1024KiB; 1KiB = 1024B. This is the same number as will be displayed in disk management software (Disk Manager on Windows, fdisk or similar on Unix) rather than the number quoted by other vendors who use 1GB = 1000MB etc. It is also after sparing, metadata and RAID.
